Apologetics rap (interesting)

I found this in a website. Too bad i dont really know how the rythem goes to rap. No music was given, only lyrics. Anyway just read or try to rap with your own rythem.

PERSON 1
Now some people say, "God doesn't exist."
I don't know how such rumors persist.
They say, "We're only a product of chance."
I wouldn't be quick to take that stance
Cause if God is unreal we're nothing but dust
no basis for saying what's just and unjust
no basis for meaning and purpose in life
no basis for love, no basis for strife
The existence of God is really a must
cause people don't really act like dust

PERSON 2A
Some people say, "If God is so real,
why do I suffer so much,
why isn't my life ideal?"

PERSON 2B
The problem's not with God,
the problem's with you.
Give your life back to God,
and He'll give life back to you.

PERSON 3
Now some people ask, "How can I know God has spoken?"
Just read His word and I'm not jokin.
Raising the dead and healing the blind.
Oh, there's lots of proofs, you'll find.
In the presence of thousands, both friend and foe.
things not done in secret, don't you know.
For when God speaks His word, He understands
we need proof it's His and not man's.

PERSON 4A
Now some people say, "No peace can I find
no peace in the world, no peace in my mind."

PERSON 4B
Make peace with God and soon you will see
you have peace in your heart and a new destiny.

PERSON 5A
"But maybe all we need for the world to be nice,
is for people to be good. Take my advice"

PERSON 5B
But can you put a bandaid on cancer?
Ethics is nice, but its' no answer.
The problem with people is we're born in sin
but Jesus said you must be born again.
For God so loved the world that He
gave his Son (for you and me).
Those that believe will never die.
but live forever that's no lie.
Freely forgiven, God paid the price,
to wipe out our sins. Now isn't that nice!

PERSON 6A
"But wait, I'm not as bad as you say.
I don't kill people, and I'm not gay."

PERSON 6B
If you think you're good and think you're right
why not turn to God and look at the light?

November 24 2007 Hether and Cindy have a CD available on Ebay!

NEW! Heather's brother is back in the USA!!!

The Martin family would like to thank all who voted for Heather's video in the YouTube Awards!
Also thank you for all of the prayers and kind remarks.

This song is not meant to make a political statement of any kind. It's simply about a family that is missing a brother. The young man who joined the army did so of his own free will. He was 20 years old and his parents played no part in his decision to serve his country. They are proud to have such a brave son.

I am only the best friend (for 34 years) of the mother, Cindy. It is my honor to post this video on YouTube. All of the wonderful messages that I have received are being forwarded to Heather and her mother.

Heather loves to sing. Since she was small she has always tried to get to the microphone first at church so she could sing. She always loved karaoke and would beg for the mic. She still loves singing more than just about anything.
Heather loves her brother and misses him. She has many memories of him. He comes home every chance he gets and will probably get to come home for a short time in February or March.

Before I truned on the camera Heather was really acting silly and laughing. What many of you have said looks like crying at the first is just Heather rubbing her eyes like any 6 year old might do.
end edit

6 year old Heather Martin sings a song that her mother wrote for her Brother Shaun who is serving in Iraq. The song is written from Heather's point of view.

Lyrics

When Are You Coming Home

copyright © 2006 Cindy D Martin

You were almost sixteen when I came into the world.
Mom and Dad had you first then 3 more boys I'm the baby girl.
I sure have a lot to look up to in you, you're really smart and funny with a big heart too.
After one year of college you knew what you had to do.
It's just like you wanting to help with the war.
So you joined the army when I was only 4.
This time of year we talk of big plans but you're over seas in some distant land.
You can't be here for Christmas, I don't understand.
Chorus:
When are you coming home, Shaun?
When are you coming home?!
We lit up the house like we always do but it doesn't seem bright 'cause we can't have you.
In my prayers I ask God to keep you safe.
And I'm trying to be really brave.
Tell me that the fighting's through.
Come home!
I really miss you.

It's hard to enjoy the holidays without you.
But we're so proud of you and all the red white and blue.
Remember that Jesus is your best friend,
And someday our families will be together again.
Wow! You know we'll have a great big party then.

Chorus

I want to show you how tall I've grown and introduce you to my new friends at school.
Maybe we could go and get some ice cream together but I really don't care what we do.

Britian's Got Talent- 6 years old Connie

Wow! Brilliant angel's voice she had. I'm simply impress and shock when she started singing. Gosh~ Accurate pitch.

Time management.

Today, i met up with Pei ling(SYFC Staff) to discuss about my commitments in Singapore Youth For Christ and my commitments in Church.

She asked me this question, "What or How do you see yourself commit in SYFC?"
As I think back what i had done for syfc, I feel that I didn't really do much and its the same goes to my church.

This year I focus too much on my ITE school attachment for 2 months 15 Oct to 14 Dec. Because I scare i couldn't get better grades or rather fail my attachment.
But I like to thank God that I scored full marks for my attachment :) yay!

I always tell people i'm busy, my friends sees me as busy girl because when my friends ask me out or my sales rep ask me to work for her in particular dates. I always couldn't make it and often rejects their invitations and offers. Sorry to my friends whom I always replied and say no to you. I don't feel good sometimes to say no or sorry that i couldn't make it for my friends to join them for shopping, movie and gathering. But i did sms to some of my friends to update them on their daily basis like currently what are they doing?, working?, how's school and etc...
This year I will try to dig out my time to go out with my friends.
Yesterday one of my friends even asked me something like, "Why I need to serve in church?" I forgotten what really was his question but he mention something related to serve and church.
But i did explain to him and his response was "Oh Ok" or "ok."
Before that question he invite me to go to his 21st birthday party. My reply to him was "Oh ok, i see how then i will let you know." I was quite surprise and wonder why he brought out this question. Due to my commitment in church and couldn't attend certain gatherings? probably...But his question didn't really disturb me because nothing can hold me back by serving The King.

SYFC have a few things to build me up and to equip me with. Firstly, teach me how to lead bible study. Secondly, how to answer political questions. I'm happy that i get to learn and answer in biblical way. I need to put my time and effort to remember and to go through what i have learn.
Probably i get to learn how to talk properly too. I'm not gifted in speaking and language but I will try my very best to talk if i need to.

I going to schedule my time for this year and pass my time table to Pei ling to see. I really need to manage my time, to stick with it so i able to see my free time to do other things and to be more organize with my programmes.

With the time table, I'm able to see my free time as well as to use it wisely.

Thanksgiving night (COUNTDOWN!)

Yup! I had a wonderful night at Dr Yip's house.
We had few new friends with us too.

GOOD NEWS!
OUR DEAR WEI WEI HAS ACCEPTED THE LORD ON YEAR 2008 1/1/08
I'm super happy for her. She told us that she actually wanted to accept the Lord into her life long ago, i think probably she's not ready or not the time yet to accept the Lord. ANYWAY! we shall call her sister from today onwards. :) Give thanks for the wonderful news.
